Great news for fans of the Great British Sewing Bee! It’s been announced that Series 2 of the popular sewing competition will be kicking off on Tuesday 18th February – that’s in only two weeks time, how exciting! Plus, applications are now open for Series 3.
Sewing fans on Facebook have been talking about being contacted by the show about applications for Series 3, and have said that the second series if the show will be starting on Tuesday 18th February. The Sewing Directory have posted a news story confirming the rumours, and they’ve also spotted that the new book that goes along with the series – Sew Your Own Wardrobe – states that the show will now be eight episodes in length, rather than six. If this is true, then it goes to show just how popular the first series of the Great British Sewing Bee was – we’d love to see even more sewing on our TV screens!
There’s not much information online at present but if you are interested in applying to be on the show you can contact the producers at firstname.lastname@example.org.
